OUR MISSION
The Greater Barrington Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people working together to advance the economic and social/ growth and well being of its members and the community. |
Formed in 1994 with 50 Charter members, the Greater Barrington Chamber of Commerce is an active partner in the business community. The Chamber is responsible for many outstanding events such as the Peeper 5K Run/Walk held in May which is a USATF sanctioned race; the annual Golf Tournament held in June, and the Chamber BINGO held in October. The Chamber offers annual scholarship awards to graduating high school seniors of Chamber members. And, each year, the Chamber proudly honors our Citizen of the Year and our Business Leader of the Year at the Annual Dinner held in November.
AREA INFORMATION Barrington is uniquely situated within a short distance of the seacoasts of New Hampshire and Maine, Lake Winnipesaukee and the White Mountains, minutes away from the University of New Hampshire main campus in Durham. It is connected by state highways to the Interstate system, the Pease International Tradeport and bus transportation, a short drive to Amtrak service in Dover or Durham. Helpful Area Links:
