Barrington: Business Leader and Citizen of the Year

The Greater Barrington Chamber of commerce is pleased to announce the annual Business Leader of the Year and the Citizen of the Year award winners.

Eastern Propane & Oil is the 2025 Business Leader of the Year.  This family-owned business, established over 90 years ago, has been a longtime and key supporter of this Chamber as well as many others throughout New England.  Our Chamber is recognizing Eastern’s longstanding commitment to bettering the communities in which they serve.

End 68 Hours of Hunger is the 2025 Citizen of the Year.  Our Chamber acknowledges the important work this not-for-profit program brings to our community, as well as many others.  Their mission to bridge the 68-hour gap of food insecurity that some children experience between school lunch Friday and breakfast on Monday, has helped Barrington families.

The annual Chamber dinner, to recognize and celebrate with the award winners, will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Rochester Country Club, 94 Church Street, Rochester, NH.  A full course dinner from appetizers through dessert including Prime Rib Au Jus and Stuffed Roasted Pork Loin along with music and award festivities will begin at 5:30 pm.  Tickets are $66.00 per person and available on the Chamber website www.BarringtonChamber.org .  Please RSVP by October 24, 2025.  Any questions, please email Office@BarringtonChamber.org

The Greater Barrington Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people working together to advance the economic and social growth and wellbeing of its members and the community. We represent the bedroom communities between the Seacoast and the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

Our communities in and around Barrington would not be the same without some very special people and groups.

Below are our Citizens of the Year and Business Leaders of the Year who have truly made a positive impact on us all.

Thank you!
