Consumer & Mortgage Loan Manager

Functions:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with both mortgage and consumer experience.  The Consumer and Mortgage Loan Manager is responsible for ensuring mortgage lending policies and procedures best serve the credit union and its members.  While supporting the Vice President of Lending, will drive optimal performance, quality and service across the processing and underwriting teams in conjunction with the Lending Manager.  Oversee mortgage processing and consumer processing staff.  Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations.  Will also assist with streamlining processes, as well as reviewing, analyzing and underwriting consumer requests and mortgage products within company and industry guidelines.  

Qualifications:
Associates degree in business, finance or related occupational field with considerable training in underwriting guidelines and processes.

Requirements:
Requires 7 to 10 years of underwriting experience, or a combination of related skills that demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
